Our Vision

To actualize an undivided society and universal orderliness by fostering excellence in human consciousness.

Our Vision

Our Mission

Understanding coexistence and evidencing it in the world together through every thought, speech and action.

Our Mission

Values

Education is about Values.

Values are what bring life to its full meaning.

They are the universal expressions—the living evidence—of a life in balance, in alignment with the inherent order of coexistence. Values are a unique feature of human beings; they reflect our capacity to live harmoniously, and purposefully. When we recognize our relationships to ensure harmonious coexistence in the family, society and in the world, values naturally emerge.

When we truly recognize what is valuable and meaningful, our life gains clarity and direction. Values address all dimensions of our life. They are our stable emotions, guiding our relationships, actions, and ways of living.

Through this education, we explore and nurture Thirty Life Essential Values that enable harmony at four levels -

Harmony within

  • Happiness
  • Peace
  • Contentment
  • Bliss

Harmonious system in the world

  • Perseverance
  • Courage
  • Generosity
  • Kindness
  • Grace
  • Compassion

Harmony in Relationships (family and society)

  • GratitudeHumility
  • HonourSimplicity
  • ReverenceVenerability
  • LoveOneness
  • TrustConcordance
  • GuidanceEffortlessness
  • CareGenerosity
  • RespectCordiality
  • AffectionDedication

Harmony with the rest of nature

  • Utility
  • Art

When we as parents and teachers embody these values, the next generation gains inspiration to live this way too. In this process our children gain an education of what is truly valuable in life.

Join us for a value-based education. The most valuable gift you can give to your child!

Our Story

We are a collective of families united by a shared vision: to cultivate an educational model that nurtures every dimension of life while fostering human consciousness and values.

This is an education that guides the way we live, leading us toward an undivided society and a universally harmonious system- a life of balance and mutual wellbeing between all of humankind and with nature. We believe this is the greatest need of our time.

We take responsibility for bringing this vision of education into practice. By embodying humane values and conduct in our daily lives, we create the environment through which our children naturally learn, gain inspiration and progress. With a deep understanding of coexistence, we are committed to making what many consider impossible-possible.

Educational Philosophy

Madhyasth Darshan - Coexistential Thought

A Transformative philosophy,
A comprehensive knowledge system
to enable harmonious coexistence in the world.

Madhyasth Darshan, also known as the Coexistential Thought or Worldview of Harmonious Coexistence, propounded by Shri Agrahar Nagraj, is a transformative philosophy that presents a comprehensive knowledge system that enables a new way of seeing and living- a worldview grounded in harmonious coexistence.

This philosophy represents a new development in human understanding. It proposes that there is an inherent harmony and balance in existence —where everything in nature is, interrelated, and mutually enriching. This is coexistence. Nothing exists in isolation; rather, all entities in nature contribute to and complement one another in a balanced and purposeful order.

For human beings to live in harmony, it is essential to understand this coexistence and align our lives accordingly. Recognizing harmony in existence, harmony within oneself (jeevan or consciousness), and harmony in human conduct (living with values, character, and ethics) naturally leads to harmony with other human beings and with all of nature. Living with humane conduct thus becomes the foundation for establishing systems of mutual prosperity and a thriving Earth...or undivided society and a universal harmonious system.

The Worldview of Harmonious Coexistence inspires people to live in alignment with coexistence by offering holistic, practical insights for every aspect of life—personal, familial, social, and ecological. It presents a comprehensive yet simple and experiential framework for realizing harmony between all of humankind and with nature.

This proposal is not a matter of belief but one of direct verification through experience and experimentation. Through the exploration of this worldview, one finds that for every human question or challenge, the answers already exists within the harmony of existence itself.

Core Tenants

This Worldview sees that:

  • Everything is related and nothing exists in isolation
  • There is an inherent harmony and balance in the existence from the atomic to cosmic level
  • Human has the potential to evidence the same harmony
  • Education provides an opportunity to understand and participate/evidence in harmonious coexistence

Guiding Principles

This philosophy and innovative education model satisfies the following criteria mentioned below:

  • Universal: It is universally applicable to all human beings, in all places.
  • Secular: It is not dependent on any caste, creed, religion, nationality, race or sect
  • Rational: It appeals to human reasoning and intuition. It yields to logic and is free from mysticism, preaching, rituals, and blind faith.
  • Verifiable: It can be self-investigated and experientially verified.
  • Practical and Livable: Not merely an intellectual exercise but is expressed in living – improves quality of understanding and living and leads to harmony with people and the environment.
  • Accessible: Shareable, inclusive, and understandable by all
  • Natural for human beings: It is naturally acceptable to every human being, natural to existence/nature and there is provision in nature for its fulfillment. It is realizable and It does not have to be imposed.
  • Comprehensive: It proposes a holistic basis for harmonious living, encompassing all facets of human life.

Our Inspiration

(January 14, 1920-March 5, 2016)

“The Wellbeing of all includes the wellbeing of oneself”

Shri Agrahar Nagraj is the propounder of Madhyasth Darshan (Worldview of Harmonious Coexistence). He was born in a small village called Agrahar in Karnataka, India, into a family of renowned Vedic scholars. From a young age, he admired his family’s dedication to hard work and service to society, yet he questioned logical inconsistencies he noticed within the Vedic philosophy.

Seeking answers to his questions, he followed the guidance of his elders and, together with his wife, journeyed to Amarkantak to pursue samadhi, a meditative state of absolute concentration. After twenty years of rigorous meditation, he attained samadhi yet still found no answers to his questions.

He then pursued an improvised form of the next stage of meditative practice and spent five years in deep study of nature. During this period, he realized that in existence there is harmonious coexistence - from the atomic to the cosmic level - and finally found answers to his questions and much more. He proposed that, through proper education, human beings can understand this harmony, live in alignment with it, and contribute to harmony within the family, society, and the planet as a whole. From this discovery, a new philosophy called Madhyasth Darshan (Worldview of Harmonious Coexistence) was introduced to the world. He authored more than thirteen books on education, economics, psychology, governance, and related topics, and introduced programs under the name Jeevan Vidya in educational institutions across India. He devoted his life to living and sharing this understanding alongside his intergenerational family, inspiring many through his example.

School Founders & Visionaries

Our School Founders

As the founders of The Global Guardians School in Gujarat, Naomi Terner and Mahendra Singh have dedicated their lives to reimagining education as a pathway to meaningful change.

In 2005, Naomi’s search for an alternative approach to education led her from Canada to India, where she first encountered the Worldview of Harmonious Coexistence. There, she met Mahendra, and together they chose to dedicate their lives to understanding the worldview and realizing its vision through education.

Over the years, alongside their two children, they spent extensive time with Shri A. Nagraj and his family, studying and experiencing this philosophy firsthand. Through this journey, they came to understand Consciousness Development Value Education and began developing a coexistence-based pedagogy and taxonomy based on the framework provided by Shri A. Nagraj. Much of the foundational groundwork for this approach was developed during their journey of home educating their children.

They have been engaged in education together for over twenty years, a journey that has culminated in the establishment of Global Guardians School. They are grateful for the ongoing support of Dr. Arthur Clark from Calgary, Canada. Without his help, establishing this school would not have been possible.
